- Set up your profile.
- Start logging what you eat. Don't leap to cutting out whole food groups etc. Maybe try logging what you currently eat for a week or so, then identify where you can make changes to fit into your calorie allowance.
- Make changes gradually. For example, one week focus on adding more vegetables. Next week, start taking some walks.
- Don't weigh yourself obsessively. There are natural fluctuations to weight. Watch the overall trend, not daily alterations.

Can you be more specific about what is overwhelming you? How to log food? How to use the app? Preparing food? Knowing what food to prepare? There's lots of help here if you can be a bit more specific.
