Fitness tracker (Jawbone UP24) and FitStar

Hello!
I need some help to figure out how to log everything accurately on MFP. I have a Jawbone UP24 that tracks my steps and calories burned throughout the day. I also use the FitStar app to exercise 5 days a week.
Now, I have my FitStar app synced to my UP app, so it adds my workouts to it. Is that okay? Would my jawbone be able to count those calories burned whether they are synced or not? I want to make sure that I'm not over-logging my calories burned by syncing both apps.
Also, if I do yoga for 30 minutes, should I log that on MFP separately? Or would those calories already be included in my UP app? I've heard to not log step-based exercises because those are already included in my UP app, but I didn't know if that included yoga as well.

Your jawbone will only count your calories ON MFP, if it is synced to MFP.0

Sync FitStar to UP and UP to MFP. That way, FitStar sends your info to UP, UP sends your total burn (which is TDEE) to MFP, and MFP adjusts your calories accordingly.
No need to log any step-based activity—your UP is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking or yoga) either in UP or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your UP total burn during that time, so I log exercise in UP.
If you want your UP exercise to appear in your MFP feed, post a status update. That way you get the best of both worlds—an accurate burn + likes.0 -

Thank you so much for explaining it so thoroughly! I've set everything up exactly like this
