I just started eating Baked Honey pretzels, they are good, but are they okay to eat a few here and there? Can I have them as a snack and not go over my calories? I eat about 8 pieces as the bag say! So are they good 2 snack on?

I buy unsalted fat free pretzel minis....It's 20 for 110 calories I believe. I always eat mine with a laughing cow cheese wedge, so delicious!0

i say yes just drink an extra glass of water0 -
Anything is okay to eat in moderation. Enjoy them and get plenty of water as pretzels tend to be a bit high in sodium. ENJOY!0

Ummm, that depends on whether you have the calories left to spend on them. You can eat whatever you want as long as it fits in your food diary. I tend to make an effort to get the most nutrition out of the calories that I eat, though. Are they worth it - I mean tasty? If they are, eat a serving and log it. If they aren't, don't waste your calories on them. :drinker:0 -

They're snyder's of hanover...it's the only brand that I can find that sells unsalted ones!0 -
Sure... but then I think almost anything is OK to eat in moderation.
Just make sure you plan them into your day, account for the calories, and if they are high in sodium then watch your other meals so you don't go over.0 -
No. Pretzels give you cancer.0

How do you figure? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
My husband and I eat the Snyder's nibblers. We get 16 of them for 160 calories I think. At first I didn't think 16 would be enough, but surprisingly it is0 -

I read it on the interwebz0 -
Newsflash..not everything you read is real. And if you're going to make statements like that then post a link to corroborate it.0

You're making this too easy. And I'm starting to feel bad.

If anyone needs unsalted pretzels just send me a bag of the regular ones and I'll send them back without salt on them. I'll also suck the chocolate off of peanut M&Ms if anyone wants just plain peanuts.0

Price Chopper's store brand has lightly salted (or maybe they call them low sodium) pretzels.
If *YOU PERSONALLY* are happy with the taste and nutrient content (ie, it fits in your calories) of a food, that's all that counts. No one here should be a food nazi and tell you what you can and can't eat. We're all in this together, but we're also all individuals doing it out own way.
I eat supposed "no-no" foods every week. Pizza, wings, ice cream, chocolate, Mojitos... Mmmmmm.... Mojitos! If I didn't, I'd be miserable. A Happy Lorina is one who's going to continue to be motivated to eat well 90% of the time and exercise enough that the 10% won't matter.0 -
I love pretzels but they are one of the foods I had to give up. They have no nutritional value and are full of Calories, Carbs and Sodium.
Maybe if you allot for them during the day. Just my opinion.0 -
Eat them, eat whatever, log it, track it, weigh, track weight, observe results.
I think, if I had logged all that beer, buffalo wings, donuts, pizza, bread, spagetti, chinese food ... mmm chinese food, rice, and had kept up with my weight on the scale ... I might have seen the upward trend line before it affected my health.0 -
Newmans Own Spelt Pretzels are supposed to be good?0

Anubis is correct. My 8yr old told me so. We then tested this theory. I am healthy except for the sore face.0
