Do you aim for a set # of exercise calories?

I know that it's all about cico but I am wondering if anyone sets a specific target for # of calories burned through exercise in a day or a week?

I have fitness goals, but they are not based on burning a specific number of calories. As I increase strength and endurance, the additional calories burned by extra activity, seem to balance out what weight loss decreases. I know that won't happen forever so I will have to accept that my weight loss rate may slow as I more closely approach my goal weight.0

No - but I don't burn very many calories no matter what I do so it's pretty pointless for me. I like to track the exercise and time, but I don't care about the calories burned.0

No but I usually end up burning off my breakfast every day so have all my cals for lunch and dinner which I think is pretty nifty.0

This. One way I motivate myself and enjoy exercise is by training for things or working toward specific fitness goals, and that's what determines my workout schedule.
I factor my planned workouts into my calorie goals for the week, however.0 -
I'm more focused on meeting particularly fitness goals but I do have a rough amount that I like to burn. Mostly so I can eat more.0

I aim for 300 calories from exercise. I have to walk 6 miles or do 70 minutes of low impact aerobics to get the desired calories burned.0

Nope. There are times that I eat a lot and give a little extra in my workouts afterwards, but generally my physical goals calorie goals are separate.0

I aim for a minimum of 500 calories a day. Don't always get there, but I try.0

This ^^
The number of calories I burn varies day to day. The only time I try for a certain minimum number of calories is on weekends ... but that's a minor consideration, the activity I'm doing (duration, terrain, speed, etc.) are greater concerns.

Nope, but I do try to walk at least a certain amount each day in addition to my regular workouts.0

Yes. I'm trying to get to a 4000 TDEE.0

Honestly I don't count exercise at all. I set everything to sedentary and then aim for a calorie intake below what it gives me. That way even if I don't exercise I'm losing weight, and any exercise I do get is just icing on the cake, so to speak.0

my goal is 400+ just because if I'm spending 60 minutes at the gym, I want it to count.0

I'm mostly a swimmer and I shoot for about 8-10 miles a week, not specific calories burned.0

I'm okay as long as I don't lose any calories and progress in my routines.0
