I'm ready to kick my fats butt!

I've always struggled with my weight. In 2012 I had decided enough is enough, I knew I had to make a change. I worked out 6 days a week, ate incredibly healthy and drank a lot of water. The weight just melted off and I felt amazing. I was able to do so many things that I had not been able to do or at least in my adult life, like being able to fit in a size 10 jean! I felt on top of the world. My usual cravings for fatty foods, cookies and chocolate had subsided and I started to crave healthier foods, fruits and veggies; and I didn't need as much to get full. Between the end of 2012 and through 2013 I experienced a lot of changes which felt devastating at the time, I now know they were blessings in disguise. I slowly stopped working out and turned back to my old friend, bad foods and my late night eating habits. I'm now at that point again where enough is enough and I need to get moving. This past weekend I bought a Fitbit (Love it!) and to date, since monday, I have over 40k steps logged! This week I started walking briskly with co-workers as well as Zumba. I plan to join a kickboxing class within the next couple of weeks. Switching foods have been kind of tough, but I know its something that is critical to a healthier and fit life. I've up-ed my veggie and fruit intake, changed my usual breakfast (coffee and a breakfast sandwich) and replaced it with oatmeal, yogurt or a protein shake. I try to eat healthy snacks more frequently throughout the day. I want to continue to ride this wave of finally getting back on track to my fitness goals and ultimately a healthier and longer life. A large part of staying on track is being in company with people who understand the struggle, people who are supportive and share the same goal as me-to live a healthier, more happy you!

Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking to you soon!
