Tracking workouts

i have fitbit charge hr and I am using mfp. When I get done exercising, should I post the workout in both apps or just one? Both apps I have my activity level and calories burn goal set at sedentary or bmr * 1.20 because I really don't do anything else and I don't have a set workout days

Are they connected? If so then log it in one and let it populate across, if they are not log it in whichever you use to track your calories. I use Jefit for my workout tracking but its more about a log of weights, reps and progression. Calories I track (most the time :$) in MFP as thats where I log my food.

Both my Fitbit and mfp are connected and when I get done working out my Fitbit tells me how many calories I burned. I set that on the Fitbit side and then c25k also puts one on mfp side

    Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Fitbit.

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.
