MFP has recommended me to switch to a loss of 1 lb a week. And that has increased my caloric intake to 1890 a day. I have been on a daily intake of 1200-1400 calories for the past few months and it has given me great results but now I am at a loss of how to add more calories in a healthy manner. So I was wondering for those of you out there on 1800+ calories what do you eat to make it to 1800?

Protein shakes.0

Unsalted nuts, especially walnuts! I am not 1800+ but that's what I use when I need to fill in my daily quota.0

Avocado and unsalted nuts, as well as more protein! (shakes or all natural peanut butter with fruit)0

nuts, if you have no allergies of course..those add calories like crazy..but they are full of health benifits..and yummy as well:)0

High density calorie foods like nuts, beans, whole wheat pasta. Cook with olive oil. Trust me I eat super healthy but it still adds up I have no trouble hitting 2500 calories a day.0

Eat a Lean Cuisine! They're really good, filling, but don't make you feel miserable after eating it. They're also a good snack if you're a little more hungry and they pack anywhere from 200-330 calories (the ones I've had anyway).0

You could also switch to higher calorie versions of what you already eat. So instead of the fat free cheese, switch to full fat, etc. That way it wouldn't be changing too much of what you eat. It might help with the initial swing of eating more.0
