Hello everyone,
Thank you for welcoming me into my fitness pal. I have read some interesting threads on here. My goal weight is to get from 260 to 140. It has been very hard to lose this weight so far. I hope to meet some of you on my fitness pal for some support. The success stories are very inspiring to me. I have been doing my fitness pal now for two weeks and it is great.

Welcome Shelley! One thing you will probably find on MFP is that there really isn't any "stubborn" weight to lose (unless of course there's a health issue to deal with), but more likely due to habitual behaviors or inconsistency as the culprit. You'll hear a lot of advice, and please look at all of it objectively and not look at it as being unsupportive or mean spirited. There are lots of successful people here who give advice, myself included. Good luck.

Thanks all of you are really great. Since then I have gone on to lose 20 more pounds for a total of 40lbs. My highest weight was 280lbs before joining MFP!0
