This is my first week and I have a large but reachable goal of 100lbs!! Looking for friends to help motivate each other!

Hey! My advice to you is this... Start slowly, don't overdo it even when feeling like a super hero in the early days... injuries and burnouts do happen. The last thing you want to do is quit a month into your journey due to injuring yourself or growing bored of the whole thing. Think of this journey as a long term, easily manageable life change (as opposed to a temporary quick fix). Little by little, week by week, increase the intensity, incorporating new forms of healthy living into your lifestyle (trust me, what seems like a chore now, does eventually become an addictive joy!). 30 mins x day x 6 days per week on the treadmill, bike or swimming + lightweight movements in the gym, will do absolute wonders for you. Walk and take the stairs whenever possible. Stick to a healthy high protein natural/raw foods diet (never stuffed/never starved), drink loads of water, figure out tasty healthy alternatives to the bad foods you crave (just about every bad food has a good alternative)... and you'll drop those pounds in no time!
