I was going to get a Polar HRM but due to an unforeseen expense I can't afford it at the moment. So I was in Tesco's the other night & they have a HRM for something like €30 - has anybody an experience of using one of these from Tesco? Don't want to throw my money away either if it's rubbish.

Thanx

Just make sure it has a chest strap and counts calories! I have not used anything other than my Polar and I live in Canada so I have only been to Tesco when I have visited the UK.....

I really like the one I got from Gaiam- it come with a chest strap so I'm confident that it's accurate. (i got it off ebay for around $50 I think, but retails around $100- GREAT buy if you can find it discoutned on ebay!!)

HRM is HRM, it really doesn't matter whether its Polar or Garmin or Tesco range to be honest.... i think long term Garmin or Polar will redeem itself but Im sure Tesco HRM will give its run for the money...
I have GArmin HRM however I hardly use it to track my Heart Rate, i just stick to the "3in 3 out rule" ...

    hope this helps
