Protein so good feels like your cheating!

Ive always been a Optimum Nutrition guy, low cost, low carb, tons of servings. I recently ran out and decided to try something new for a change. Employee referred me to Muscle Pharm combat birthday cake flavor. I mixed one scoop, cup of milk, loads of ice. The result is amazing. Best tasting hands down and fits nicely into my macros. I think its better than Bsn Syntha 6, I would recommend to anyone dieting that has a sweet tooth, tasted better than a milkshake from restaurants.
My question is, whats your favorite protein when it comes to taste? (Pricing not a factor)

Dymatize Iso-100 gourmet chocolate is my favorite tasting protein. My shakes have so much peanut butter in them though that the flavor doesn't matter all that much...lol.0

This may make a pretty flavored yummy pancake. May just have to try it...0 -
@betuel75 you wont be dissapointed!0

Quest bars. Love them. Banana nut muffin is great!0

My fav is the vanilla flavoured whey protein shake from bulkpowders. Mixing it with milk though (rather than water). It turns out super smooth with no chalkey texture and is sooooo sweet! muchos yum0

Almost any Syntha 6.0

Not a fan of protein powders but I recently discovered pancakes made with cottage cheese, eggs and oats and they taste amazing.0

I actually hardly take any whey protein anymore. I'm able to satisfy my protein intake via consuming whole foods/meat.0

Isopure german chocolate is a good one. It tastes decent and doesn't have much of the artificial sweetener flavor/aftertaste many others do.0

Isopure Banana Cream

I've only tried quest strawberry protein powder but it tasted pretty good even when only mixed with water. It blended very easily as well. No chunks.0 -
Too many chemicals in most of them. I am testing some new products without any junk in them. I will let you know what I think after I have thoroughly tested.0

Isopure gourmet vanilla is about all I use. Just with water. Delicious.0

I like the quest powder too but it's expensive.0

I love quest powders...totally worth the price I think. The chocolate and peanut butter flavors are my fave. They're both awesome in oatmeal too!0

Right on, thanks guys I appreciate the replys. I used Isopure back in the days and no lie, its amazing. It costs a lot though for how many servings you get and if your like me consuming 2 to 3 shakes a day its going to add up. Best thing about isopure is no water needed for full flavor! So as for you guys saying you would rather get all your protein intake through whole foods I commend you, I try to do the same but my job and schedule makes it difficult to get over 200grams a day. I try my best though. I really need zo try quest powders to bake with and such.

I like a good tenderloin, but a rib-eye darn good too.

Does anyone have a favorite casein powder? I use it for fluff and think I might not like the one I have now, but I'm used to whey and don't know if it's just because it's a different type of powder or if I just have a crappy flavor/brand.0

I used to be all about ON, but I recently switched to Cellucor and I really love it. I have only tried the mint chocolate chip flavor so far. It mixes better than ON and is tasty enough where I drink it with just plain ol’ 6oz of water!0

How could I ever forget this... The only protein powder that I enjoyed other than syntha 6 was UMP. I've tried about a dozen kinds with comical results sometimes and I almost gave up on protein powders until I found syntha 6, but then a few weeks ago I was tried UMP at a friend's place... OH WOW! The shake was satisfyingly thick, and for the first time I felt like I was having an actual dessert shake and not a protein powder that attempts to mimic the taste of a dessert. I won't be making the switch though because it's so darn expensive.. sad, because it would be like having a satisfying treat every single day.0

I haven't tried the caramel, but it sounds delish!

I tried their cookies and cream and was one of the worst I tasted. Too sweet, and if you want to dilute the sweetness away it turns into something akin to sugar and water. It's very thin. The sweetener has a lasting aftertaste that overwhelms the barely there cream taste, and the cookie bits sink to the bottom. Those that don't you just swallow. They're too small to have a recognizable taste. That's a good thing though, because if you try scoop and chew them from the bottom, they have this horrible chemical taste. This was one of the powders I mentioned earlier to which I had a comical reaction. Wish someone took a video of my face. I would have gone viral.0 -

I have not personally ventured into casein-land, but the awesome reviewers that recommended Cellucor to me also raved about PES Select Protein. I don't believe PES is 100% casein though. I think it is a blend.
Not sure what you are looking for, but it might be something to check out!

Good to know!
There are disgusting flavors everywhere in protein-ville. Some people love’em and other people hate’em. Even ON had some flavors I didn't care for.

I use ON for shakes and I bake with Quest-- I think it bakes better than most others I have tried. I've used the vanilla for various muffin recipes but then got the unflavored kind and made a zucchini pizza crust...amazing and tons of protein! I like it for shakes too but honestly, it's just too expensive for me to go "all in" on Quest brand.0
