Sleeping for 400 mins daily?

According to Wiki, sleeping = 0.9 MET (Metabolic Equivalent)
The calculation goes like this:
((0.9 x 3.5 x Weight in Kgs)/200 ) x Total minutes you sleep

So, If I am 100 Kgs now and I sleep for 7 hrs daily, I'll burn:

((0.9 x 3.5 x 100)/200) x (60x7) = approx 600 Calories.

Running for 6.2 mph or 10 kmph for 35 minutes will burn approx 600 Calories.

Enjoy sleeping :)

1.5 MET while Reading and 1.8 MET while Studying in class/taking notes

Reading for 6 hrs:
((1.5 x 3.5 x 90 )/200) x (60x6) = 850 Calories

Why aren't these calculations a part of MyFitnessPal app?

MFP's calorie goals for you take into account your estimated daily activities, including sleeping. The calories we burn through daily life ARE part of the calculations.

How about Reading/Studying for 6 hrs daily?
1.5 MET to 1.8 MET can easily burn 1000 Calories if I read for 6 hrs daily right?

The calorie goal MFP gives you is based on the assumption that you will be burning calories all day long. This includes activities like reading. We burn calories all day long, even if we're just sitting in a chair. This is accounted for in your calorie goal.

Go ahead and eat 600 more calories a day (since you're burning them sleeping) and see if you lose any weight... You'll find that MFP does account for your normal activity and bodily functions...

I totally agree. However, it doesn't make sense to not to add these as a part of the "Exercise" tab. Can you please add that as a necessity?

You're pretty much missing the mark. This is basic daily activities where your body is using energy to breath, pump blood, and other things. MFP accounts for that in your calorie target. It is called Non-exercise Activity Thermogenisis (NEAT).

Adding these activities as "exercise" effectively double-counts your activity. If you log 1000 exercise calories for an activity that is not exercise and eat that back, you'll likely be eating above maintenance (and gain weight).

They aren't exercise. They are already included in the calorie goal given you by MFP. If they were included as exercise, you wouldn't have a deficit because you would be "double-counting" the calories burned.

MFP already knows you are burning calories through various activities like working, reading, bathing, watching TV, and some walking throughout the day. You don't need to account for these -- they are already counted.

If you choose sedentary, you're already getting some extra calories. Typically sedentary is set at 1.2x. Studying for 6 hours might burn 1000 calories, but just laying on the couch might burn the same person 900 calories due to BMR+awake and breathing. If you feel like you aren't getting enough calorie credit for daily activities, select lightly active or moderately active.

I think he may be trolling.

Are you truly "moderately active," though? Reading and studying don't add a lot of calories burned.

It doesn't appear that you understand what everyone is trying to tell you.

Well, he's losing more than a kilogram a week -- about 2 1/2 pounds a week, so if that's not what MFP was projecting for him, maybe he did need to adjust his activity level. Real data from personal experience trumps the descriptions of activity levels.

I have a desk job and I still had to push my activity level up to active (not lightly active) to get MFP's estimate of my daily calorie burn to be close to (but not over) what two years of logging shows is my (pre-exercise) daily burn.

If you don't log washing dishes or taking a shower as exercise, you shouldn't log studying, either.
