I have found many errors in nutritional values, on a daily basis. Because of this it's very difficult to properly track the values, or trust the options from which to choose. Is there anyone that checks info on the site for accuracy, or someone to notify as we find these errors?

It use to drive me crazy because I am such a numbers person. But I figure it all averages out. Labels are allowed by standards to be up to 20% off.

Anything with a large user inputted pool of data will be full of errors.

You have the ability to correct them.

Your best bet is to cross reference with another source/packaging.

If the item isn't verified (with the green checkmark), you can confirm whether or not the nutritional information is correct by checking it on USDA's website or the nutrition label and make any corrections. The vast majority of the database is user-entered, which can lead to horrendous errors in logging accuracy.

You can't trust the verified ones, either. At least half of them have been wrong for me.

    I constantly correct entries.
When they introduced the verified ones, the first 4 entries I checked were wrong, so check them too.
