What's Your Favorite "Fat" Book?

By this I mean a book, or story, with a so-called "fat" main character... I, like many, tend to read this type of book because I find it relateable. Just curious your thoughts. Probably my favorite was "Moose: A Memoir of Fat Camp" by Stephanie Klein. It was so relateable to me. Read it in a day at the beach! :)

Read "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weinier - not bad.

Just starting "The Amazing Adventures of Diet Girl" - so far, I'm intrigued!

    Great thread!!!

Lady Oracle by Margaret Atwood - love love love this one! http://tinyurl.com/3kd772q

I'm Not the New Me by Wendy McClure (http://www.imnotthenewme.com/) The best best thing about this are the vintage weight watcher recipe cards and her commentary - I nearly peed myself laughing!!!

If anyone's interested, you can see the WW cards and commentary here. They are freaking hysterical. Seriously, don't drink anything while reading.

Don't eat cherries while reading these either. I now have to explain the reddish smear and dent in the drywall to the husband when he gets home.

There's a mystery series by Sue Ann Jaffarian - she's a paralegal by day but a girl-scout cookie, apple fritter eating bad *kitten* detective(?) by night. Great books!
