I have been overweight most my life and have attempted to lose weight many times unsuccessfully. This time I got back on because my mom works at Cigna and they were doing a 6 week fitness challenge and I joined. Though I want to continue even when it's over. I want to travel the world yet flying on a plane is uncomfortable and I get short of breath easily. I want to work with horses but you have to be in pretty good physical conditions and honestly I'm not. I have too many dreams to give up this time. I'd be grateful for any advice you would be willing to give me.

Every night before bed and every morning as you wake, remind yourself of those dreams. Perhaps a chore for the first week or two but soon second nature and as sure as day follows night...the lbs will drop off.

Hello and welcome to mfp.
I love this site. I have lost 4.7kgs since joining nearly three weeks ago.
This is me changing the way I look at food and exercise and plan to live like this for the rest of my life.
