    I've met a few people off here, all of them are genuinely awesome people who I still occasionally get drinks with when time coincides and one of them I was running and hiking with until she moved cross country.

    I recognized someone in a store but I didn't want to say "hi I'm from the internet!" We're not friends and have had no interaction--I checked out his pics when he said he lived nearby.

    I've intentionally met people from other sites and found that it's really strange how you can have a ton of chemistry with someone online and over skype, but when you meet offline it fizzles.
