I'm a diabetic and trying to get my blood sugar down to normal and even optimal levels. The diabetic educator said that I would need to be specially followed if I choose the keto diet. Are you being speically followed? Why did you choose this diet? Do you intend to eat like that for the rest of your life?

Hello all! I'm so glad there are others who are on the Keto diet. For the past 2 weeks I have been getting myself familiarized with the Keto diet. I'm reading the book "Keto Clarity" just to get more information. After a very bad eating and drinking weakend, and gaining so much weight, I decided to go for it. Started on Sunday and I'm already down 4.5 lbs. I've watched YouTube videos and have read blogs about how people felt sluggish during their first 2 weeks, but I must say I haven't felt that yet. I actually feel full faster, and no cravings for carbs. Anyone else have any advise for staying on track or keeping motivated?

Hi !! I started the keto diet 16 days ago. I felt a little dizzy on the second and third day ... and .. since then ... I am feeling extremely good (if there is such a thing :)) I almost forgot how it feels to be energised, not sleepy all the time. I feel like wanting to walk all day long, and I am not feeling tired at all. It is amazing (for me) !!!

I lost 10 pounds in two weeks, which is also unbelievable for me, because I could lose weight in any other way, not even a bit. I was just putting on, I never had a successful weight loss!!! ... until now :)

I am very confident that this will work, and I hope I will start my first day of college as slim as I was on 20's (or...close) :D

There's a few of us out there. I've been doing keto for a couple of months too.

Try the Low Carber Daily or Keto groups to find more low carbers.

Hello everyone, I just started the keto diet and I have to say that I do feel better(both mentally and physically). I'm extremely active and strict on my diet. My problem tends to be on the weekends when I cook for my husband and myself. He doesn't do keto...I'm looking for motivational support so I don't give in to the temptation of the foods I cook for him. Thanks, Liz

Hello everyone! I'm glad to see some posts on Keto as I am starting my journey today! Basically, I am still in the learning stages but hearing really great benefits of going Keto!! And based on research I've done so far, I've decided to gradually work on weening off carbs to hopefully avoid glucose withdrawal symptoms.

Has anyone tried this 'gradual' approach to the Keto lifestyle?

Good luck to everyone on the road to best health‼️
