If you have a local YMCA, those are great because you can have access to a gym, classes for various group exercises (e.g. yoga, cardio, ellipticals), and a pool. As for healthy food, #1 is probably to make your own because then you know everything that goes into it, but otherwise Sprouts, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and for most restaurants, opting for salads or taking half/all the bread off of hamburgers/sandwiches is good.
