I've been walking everyday after work in layered clothing to sweat more and hopefully lose more weight.

I been selecting walking briskly to log in but am unsure what to pick or how to be accurate on calories burned.

Tried to look up online but I just get wrong topics.

Sweating more in layered clothing doesn't increase you calorie burn significantly. You sweat because your body is trying to cool itself. That's what sweating if for.
If you sat in a sauna, hot sun or steam room, you sweat. Does that count as extra calorie burning? Hardly.
Just count the walking speed and length/duration you did.

Wearing layers to sweat more does not burn more fat, you just lose water. Pick brisk walking and take 1/2 or 3/4 that calorie burn number because MFP database is overstated.

Can you walk a route with a set distance, and then time yourself as you do it? You can then turn that into a MPH speed, and from there you can more accurately guess what your walking speed might burn. There's a lot of selections on here for speed to help you gauge the burn.

For example, if you went a 2 mile route in 40 minutes you would be doing 3mph, or a moderate pace.
