I am getting alerts recommending that I need to eat more calories so that my body does not go into starvation mode. My question is: If I eat 1200 calories, then exercise and burn 200 calories, do I need to eat another 200 to bring me back up to the 1200? Or, do I eat 1200. exercise and keep moving thru the week with a calorie credit?

I have never done the whole eat your calories back, so I just eat my normally calories allowed and whatever I burn off I burn off. I would say if you are feeling hungry though eat back some of the calories.

Eat your exercise calories back. You want to eat a NET of 1200 calories. Believe me, it worked for me at first, but eventually my body caught up and I stopped losing.
