I've been within my daily 1200 calories and I burn about 1/4 of them everyday but I'm gaining weight. I started at 140 and when I weighed myself today I was at 144. :/ what can I do to stop that?

    How long has it been?
Do you use a food scale?
    Did you just start exercising?
    Are you around your TOM?
Are you eating back earned exercise calories? If so, how many and how do you determine the burn?
What was your sodium intake like the past couple days?

Your eating 1200 and exercising for 300? So netting 900?

Sounds like your eating more than you think.

    Using a scale?

Did you just start or increase activity? Your muscles could be retaining water as they heal.

If you're gaining weight then you are eating more than you realize. This happens from underestimating intake and/or overestimating calories burned.

When did you start your diet?

Do you weigh your food? Log everything you eat?

Do you count your exercise calories and eat them back? Where do you get those burns from?

Open your diary for specific feedback.
