Banking Calories

Hi every one
I'm quite confused about banking my calories and when my week starts.. (I hope this makes some sort of sense to you as it's hard to explain!).
I eat 1500 calories per day (I do not eat back exercise calories - this is simply my amount). There are some days during the week where I eat 50 under, some days 20, some days 10 etc. I came up with the idea of adding up all the little 'left over amounts' I compile from Monday - Friday and add them to my Saturday calories so I can have a treat (Saturdays are my eating out days!) and still eating at my deficit.
My question .. and this is where I confuse myself and probably every one else.. When does my fresh week start? In other words, am I simply carrying these calories over onto a brand new week that I haven't banked anything for?
I weigh in on Friday mornings though I'm not sure that makes any difference. I hope this makes some sort of sense and you see what I'm getting at.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I just add up my deficit from the previous 7 days and use those.0

So literally just count back 7 days and add up whatever you didn't use? Sounds simple enough to me!0 -
Think of a week as 7 days.0

So (please forgive me for asking another silly question) I use what is banked from the previous 7 days on the Saturday. Come Sunday it is back to normal tracking.
The following saturday morning, I can add up the previous 7 days again to get my banked once more?0 -
i see what you mean. if you look on Saturday morning before you eat it will tell you how many under your weekly goal you are so lets say 200 for sun-fri + 1500 for Saturday you have not logged allowing you to eat 1700 that day.
probably best to let Saturday be the last day of your week as your eating your remaining calories then.
""but if you where to look friday night see what you can eat tomorrow then that would include last saturday!"0 -

Brilliant! So I check Saturday morning (Sun-Fri).
What would I do without you all? Thankyou so much!0 -
To complicate things even further - What If one week I wanted to use Sunday as my 'banked calories' day? Would it be the same situation (Checking sunday morning to see the previous 7 days I have remaining?)

think that may be over complicating things0 -
There's no magic to a week. Your body doesn't have a calendar. You're also dealing with calorie variances (20 calories, etc) well within the margin of measuring error. You can enjoy an extra glass of wine on Saturday because you're usually under during the week, without the need for faux precise bookkeeping.0

You guys have been very helpful. Thank you.
I'm new to the idea of banking calories but if I have them left-over, I may aswell use them!
I have a big night out with my friend planned this Saturday so I expect to be drinking more wine than I normally would so this 'banking' idea is a godsend right now!0 -
I set my weekly nutrition setting to start my week on Mondays, the default was "7 days ago"
Mondays, any unused calories gets wiped clean for next week.0 -
a lot of people work on a weekly deficit. I don't intentionally do, but my weekly deficit generally covers the case of beer i drink on the weekends

If I was doing the banking thing, that is what would make sense to me.
