Hey there
Does anyone know how to get the diary to show calories burned?
I changed it in settings a few weeks ago but forget how t get it back. I've investigated all the settings functions numerous times to no avail. It shows cals burned on my phone app but not my computer.
Cheers!

Are you adding in your exercise calorie?

If you want a general MFP user to help, it would be good to provide some more information. What MFP mobile app are you using, iOS, Android, Windows, Blackberry? Do you have a cardio activity tracker (e.g. Endomondo, MapMy..., Runkeeper, etc.) or an all-day activity tracker (e.g. Fitbit, Jawbone Up, etc.) linked?

For actual technical support, I would suggest you open a Case with Customer Support on the MFP Help pages...

Having the same problem. I go to exercise - add it in manually (I have a heart rate monitor - but its not connected to myfitnesspal) and it does not show the calories added to my food total like it used it. =(

Are you adding cardiovascular exercise to the Cardiovascular section - only those types of exercises will provide an estimate for Calories burned per minute? Any exercises added to the Strength Training section will not provide an estimate for Calories burned; the Strength Training section is for a log of sets/reps/weights only.

The reason I asked the original poster about which app is being used is that the iOS and Android apps are different and the iOS app can have an issue which does not show up in the Android app and vice versa.
There was an issue in the iOS app, which was supposedly fixed in MFP iOS app version 6.0.1:
Fixed in 6.0.1: Macro goals not updating after adding exercise to diary

If the problem persists, I would suggest you open a Case with Customer Support, who can take a look at your specific account and troubleshoot your issue directly.

I am using my computer. It shows up on the phone app, but not the computer. I add it in as cardiovascular of course, so for example I do a 15km run and burn like 600calories or more, well usually I make a MyExercise out of it and select 600 calories burned. But even if I add it in as [90minutes * "Running/jogging, 12m/h"] it doesn't show up in my food diary.

Your profile is not set to public and you have not indicated which mobile app you are using, so a general MFP user is not going to be able to troubleshoot your specific issue.
Have you contacted Customer Support on the MFP Help pages to open a Case? Customer support can access your individual account and work directly with you to resolve your specific issue.
