There are no foods that will adversely affect weight loss, nor accelerate it.
It all comes down to energy balance, calories in vs. calories out in regards to weight loss.
The vitamins and minerals in foods should also be considered, but they aren't going to affect your weight loss.0 -
These articles that bash fast food companies are kind of ridiculous. They sell a product that is designed to be fast, convenient and predictable. There is no way to do that and make it healthy, organic, unprocessed. There will have to be additives and preservatives to make the product stay in a sellable state until someone buys it. The larger issue isn't whether the egg mcmuffin is too high fat. The issue is the choice to go to that restaurant in the first place. What those companies offer is well known. If people CHOOSE to buy it, they shouldn't turn around and damn the company for what it sells. Doing that is avoiding recognizing the reason that there are weight issues in the first place. McDonalds has never made anyone fat. The choice to shop there has.0

The food itself from there has never directly made any fat either. The simple overeating of it has, as with any food. You can get just as fat off an excess of peanut butter, fruits, chicken, and broccoli.0 -
