I actually eat regular bacon because I discovered that the calories and fat are exactly the same as the turkey bacon! But Oscar Mayer has, by far, the best turkey bacon out there.0

I get mine from the butcher, where he doesn't use the injected chemicals for colour etc... it's mighty tasty, I've only had 2 poeple that tried it not like it and their complain was that it wasn't salty enough...0

I TOTALLY agree! I have never tried the turkey bacon but Oscar Mayer regular bacon is my favorite. The trick is to stop at just one serving!0 -
I only eat the vegetarian bacon. If I ate real bacon however, I would just go for the one with the lowest sodium maybe? I dunno. Read the labels I guess. Look for one that is more meaty than fatty. Everything in moderation. A couple of slices of bacon won't kill you every now and then.0

Any sort of center cut or reduced fat Bacon. I usually buy Gwaltney Reduced Fat. Taste the same but is a little on the thin side.0

Oscar Mayer makes a low sodium pork bacon and a turkey bacon that are great!0

Moderation is key...I buy whatever is on sale that looks the least fatty! I also read recently that turkey bacon has tons of nitrates (I think) that actually makes it worse for you than regular bacon!0

mmm bacon, how I miss thee...
I dont' know what the best choice is, the only thing I can say is to look at the nutritional values of all of them and pick one lol. I did read an article on aol that turkey bacon isn't better for you than regular like everyone thinks because it has 2x+ more sodium than regular.0 -
Center cut bacon is what I always buy. Now I'm craving bacon! lol0

I go for the leaner cuts like back bacon. I cut off the visible fat and grill it so that more of the fat drips off. I do prefer it fried but I think I'm going to have to save that for a treat one day0

Mmmm... I love bacon. I don't have a preference to which brand so I usually just buy what's on sale.0

This afternoon I just picked up some bacon that has no nitrates. No more turkey bacon for me until they have that without nitrates as well!0
