Just bought a 50cl bottle of volvia 'a touch of fruit - lemon and lime' water. The manufacturers label says 4cals per 250ml, meaning 50cl = 500ml = 8cals.

MFP with the same item, takes a whopping 116 calories from me for the same thing!! Who am i to beleive?

    I notcied that too

I take from the label. Click on the volvic T.o.L in FOOD search and when it asks if the figure is correct state NO and amend it
  • Hi Jeff

I had the same problem the other day! I drank an entire bottle of it over the course of an afternoon thinking "hey this is great".. adding it to the diary later I was shocked to find that the label says

    23.3 cals per 100ml... I drank 1.5L - a nice 349 calorie surprise :(

The manufactures label always contains the correct amount. Go with that over what's in the MFP database.
  • Oh, did you get the no added sugar volvic!? I checked and that one is 1.4cal per 100ml. Maybe you logged it under the regular volvic?
  • i think there may be a non sugar free version

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why MFP is the best, information is accurate from friends and other users. Ive ammended the eentry to reflect my sugar free option. Thanks everyone
