Hello all, I'm a younger guy of 19, and I'm in the stages of recovering of anorexia. It is definitely a struggle, and I get nervous a lot. I try my hardest though. I work out at the local YMCA daily almost, and I count all my macros and calories still. I just don't know what is good to eat, what is safe to eat, but not gain to much bad weight.
I really want to get better, I just feel like my issue is that when I work out, I don't know how many calories I burn when lifting weights, my cardio is easily calculable, and I know what to replace with that, but with weights I have no clue. I can provide the strength workout routine that I'm on if anyone would like to help me calculate that.
Another thing I have issue with is food in general. Being anorexic for so long, I am still scared of certain things. I don't know what carbs are good carbs or bad carbs, good fats or bad fats, etc. I can also provide what I usually eat for judgement(but please don't just say "eat more" because that is all I've heard, and it really doesn't help with no informational help.)
I have been diagnosed by a specialist, however I have not seen a nutritionist due to my insurance covering none in my area at all. I do work outside of working out. I am a cashier at my local grocery store, so I stand quite a bit, retrieve the carts, and lift heavier cases of alcohol, soda, and water multiple times daily. I am also a college student, taking graphic design, but I walk all around campus carrying a pack full of supplies all day.
I know those two things probably don't burn many calories, but I thought I'd provide that information. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. I want to get better, but I don't want to relapse. Thank you for any help ahead of time![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)

have u joined a eating disorder support group? do u have access to a dietician or nutritionist who could help you do basic plan pro bono? is there a hospital in ur area who offers classes (nutrition)on the cheap?there are options out there;) is it possible for u to find a different line of work while going to school? not sure a grocery store is a non trigger for you.walking around carrying a pack is hiking & does burn cals up, id suggest tracking steps to see how many steps ur taking in a day.also have specialist go over signs to watch for later in life(tooth decay from constant contact with stomach acids, stomach & intestinal issues)i am 26 yrs recovering same disorder. now is the time for u to do this!!!!please add if youd like to.0
