If this were my Facebook, I'd be a better person!

I'm going to convert the majority of my social media "outlet time" to MFP and other fitness apps. As a comic, I don't think I can abandon it completely but I'm going to try to limit my social media interactions that don't involve health and fitness. Add me!
Cheers!

The more interested I am in enhancing my health and eating better, the less facebook is able to interest me. It's easier to come here to find a community with similar goals than to bore all the people in my network with posts most won't care about.

I'm on mfp wayyy more often than Facebook (which is hardly any nowadays). Helps keep my mind right!

Lol me too! :p if it weren't for seeing pics of my grand kids I wouldn't even have fb.
  • I see it's a matter of staying connected on both platforms. This is definitely a better place to hang out when it comes to positivity and growth! Glad I found this app!

My diet and exercise is boring to talk about, but fun to do. I keep my discussions positive on both platforms, and spend more time doing things off my computer than on it. (Social media are great, but they don't build muscle).

I think that really depends on who you choose to keep in your social circle. Facebook is not the problem, people's choices in friends is the problem. The same problems can happen here or on any internet platform or even in real life. Who you chose to associate with will affect how you experience social situations in your life.

I do enjoy MFP as well as FB. Both are useful and valuable.

I don't blame Facebook, I don't blame the people I'm friend's with. Everyone uses social media for their own reasons. This one being directed at health certainly doesn't make it immune from the ugly things that (can) happen on social media.
