Need advice..gaining weight with Strength exercises in

I came down to 182 from 208 lbs ..4 days who started Jillian michaels 30 day shred program and on level 1..but me seeing my weight is increasing...I am watching calories around 1500 and also doing my 15k steps challenge 4 to 5 days a week..my main goal is reduce weight(GW 135lbs) but am concerned about the weight gain..any inputs/advice/suggestions are most welcome...please help

probably water weight from the increased activity.
make sure your logging is accurate and that youre not eating back too many exercise calories0 -

I started this program last Wednesday and today is the 4th day of my exercise with Jillian and the weight gain am seeing after that only ..but I do feel leaner..0

Iam not too sore from the exercises..so would it be water weight still? What I want to know is- is it a good idea to do both JM program and my 15k step everyday for my weight loss strategy?? My main aim of starting Jillian michaels 30 day shred is to lose 10 lbs by mid oct..but if I can't lose weight then I need to reevaluate my plan...thanks for all your replies0

I agree. Weight gain usually stalls when the body starts a new exercise. I bet you'll have a drop in a week.0

Try using a measuring tape as I never meet a scale that always told the truth0

I have my body measurements today and I will check at the end of30 day shred program..hope I lose inches and weight too..though ppl say to go with measurements not sure why I get obsessed with the number on the scale0

Today when I checked my scale 5 pounds is off..water weight...hope the downtrnd continues...thank u all0
