Foot pain-not plantar fasciitis

I've been having intermittent foot pain, medially, just behind the arch but ahead of the heel. I'm not sure what it is, but it also swells up a bit.

It's definitely worse if I've been walking barefoot or in shoes with little cushioning or arch support. My running shoes are new and the same type I've been wearing for years without issue (recommended by a specialty running store). Oddly enough, it never hurts while I'm running, which I do about 3 times a week. I'm a moderate overpronator (worse on the side with the pain) and in Asics GT-2160s, a cushioned stability shoe.

It's no better or worse at certain times of day or after sitting for extended periods, which is why I'm fairly sure it's NOT plantar fasciitis.

Anyone have any idea what this is? I suppose it's some sort of tendon or ligament issue?

So weird! I have been having pain in the exact same spot, only on my left foot! I wish I could offer some assistance, but I just noticed it this week and I feel it mostly when I am standing still in shoes with no support...it's summer flip flop time!

I have been having pain in my foot as well. One thing I have been doing that has helped a bit is freeze water in a water bottle and once or twice a day I roll my foot on it. Cold at first but helps with the pain and swelling.
