Depression Stinks

Hi All - my name is Cory. I'm new here, hoping to get back up on that horse. Getting over a very difficult relationship which aided to a 20lb weight gain. Need all the support I can get!

  • Depression does indeed stink. I agree with Shellbelle that exercise helps immensely, but depression makes it difficult to get the motivation to exercise. Stupid depression cycle.

    Good luck with your journey. Ive been in that depression hole. It doesn't last forever, believe in yr self and set small achievable goals :)

    Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if it doesn't get better. Some forms of depression are a matter of brain chemistry and short term medication can do wonders.
