I thought I was doing so well. Dinner party at my girlfriends. Not seen them in months. She'd lost 10 kilos with a naturopath and I'd lost only 6. Her husband pointed out how terrific she looked and was relatively unimpressed with me. I keep telling myself it doesn't matter. But it really does deep down.

A new day. A new start. My iPhone ap of MFP gives a breakdown of the nutrients I eat each day. As I looked at it critically last night I noticed that I have consistently eaten slightly more carbs than I am allowed. So, starting today, I am going to fix that!

Dont be down , remember that he is her husband so he has to be impressed!
Youve done well to lose 6kgs and dont need to lose much more anyway according to your ticker, so be pleased with yourself:smile:

6kg is loads! Be proud of yourself. I have friends losing weight far faster than I have, but they're paying! He may have just been trying to be loyal to his wife too.

You've got so far... Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

We spend way too much time comparing ourselves to others (myself very much included)! You should be proud of yourself!! You did something that worked!! It's not about anyone else's opinion of it, you didn't do it for him right?? You did it for you - own it, and be proud of it!! Keep it up!!

You are doing just fine. Just because someone else has success too, it doesn't take away the hard work that it took you to get to where you are. Inventory your progress and success and keep up what you are doing! Be Proud!

Thanks for the advice folks! Especially got me to look up my ticker. Realised my goal weight back when I started had nearly been reached! So, now, I have reset my goal weight. It's funny and quite lovely to think that, back when I set my original goal, I thought it was probably going to be unachievable...... and now I have reset it downwards! Quite exciting actually!
