Good day everyone! I am trying to get back into running, does anyone have any good music to recommend? It definitely helps with breathing and making the time go by faster. I pretty much listen to all types of music except for heavy metal. Thank you in advance for your recommendations!

some people suggest audiobooks or comedians
i listen to fort minor, redlight kings, kongos, ambassadors x, sixx am, and maroon 5. out of all of them, i find maroon 5 keeps me going and i don't even like them much0 -
Katie Perry's prism album is one that I've used for several 5ks and one 8k and it kept me going the whole time and I was able to pace myself well. If you can't stand "new stuff" then maybe some good ol' funk or 80s rock0

You should be running at a cadence of around 180 steps per minute. If you find that the music you are listening to determines your cadence you should find songs that are around 90 or 180 beats per minute which would keep you close to the proper pace.0

Have you tried the app Rock my Run?0

I have a race playlist that I also use for faster runs. For ss runs, I just use Pandora.0

I like listening to podcasts! They make time go by so fast0

Jog FM.com is a website that allows you to put in your jogging pace......then it recommends songs for that pace (BPM - beats per minute). You can narrow the song list by genre.

There are options for cycling & walking as well.0 -

I love techno- tiesto or above and beyond! It keeps me moving fast to the beat. The music is amazing and transports you0

I like anything with a good beat that I can match my steps to or my breathing. Pitbull, black eyed peas, the script (hall of fame), stuff like that. I also have songs that inspire me to go farther like the distance or girl on fire and such. I listen to audio book when I ride my bike.0

I tend to enjoy songs that have high tempo or, something that has to deal with running; Flock of Seagull "So i Ran", or Black Eye Peas "Pump It", even some "Rocky" inspired songs like "Eye of the Tiger" or "Getting Stronger" i think that's the name of it.0
