I did It!!! I AM SO EXCITED !!!!!!

:happy: Today I Finished my first 1/2 marathon in just over 3 hrs 10 min. I feels great!!!! :happy:

I started January 1 at 280 lbs and could only see myself getting bigger and bigger. I made the decision in January to lose 100 lbs this year. Not sure what I would do but I was and am very motivated. So I new I needed something to push me or I might quit or not do the work needed to loose the weight.

So in February I registered for the Hospital Hill 1/2 Marathon and started walking all over our town and up and down every hill I could find around where I live and there are some big ones to train for today.

I joined Weight Watchers and did the Points Plus program for three months I lost 15 lbs and was not happy with paying for something I believed I could do on my own by counting calories.

I found MFP the end of March and joined and started using it the first of April I have lost another 30 lbs since I joined an then today capped it off with my 1st 1/2 marathon. I am going to register for another one in Sep.

    awesome acheievment, im inspired!! I am down to do the Great South Run in October, only a mere 10 miles!!
