Worst binge of my life

in the past I have struggled with anorexia and restrictive eating and was severely underweight. Over the past year I have gained a bit of weight eating a healthy, reasonable amount of food. However, this past summer I have picked up binge eating habits. Tonight was my worst binge. Sadly, the past few nights have been similar. I'm tired of feeling guilty for eating and want a healthy relationship with food again! Need some motivation to get back on track... :/

It looks like you would be well-served by getting an appointment with a therapist who can help you sort this out.

Just star fresh tomorrow. This binge is in the past now. Put your mind where you want it to be In regards to eating and DO NOT beat yourself up or self loathe. Set yourself up for success tomorrow and get your mind back in the game. It's ok!

Try to setup what you want to eat the night before. Then plug the food into your My Food Pal that night. Then when you start the day you are more likely to be committed to eating healthy.

It is not unusual for someone who has struggled with one eating disorder to find themselves elsewhere on the eating disorder spectrum later. Do you see a counselor or therapist about your relationship with food/eating? See your general practitioner too to see if the diet you're trying to follow is actually enough food for you. If you're not eating enough throughout the day it may be contributing to the binges.
