Nervous about wearing a bikini

I'm going on holiday with some friends in a couple of days and will be spending time at the beach and by the pool. I'm pretty nervous about wearing a bikini. I feel quite self-conscious most of the time, despite only being about 7 pounds away from my goal weight.

Maybe TMI, but oh well... I'm about 10 days - two weeks away from starting my period, so am already beginning to bloat a bit (and it gets pretty bad the closer I get) and I hate the way it looks. Even drinking a lot of water and keeping sodium intake low doesn't help all that much.

So yeah... I know I'm going to have to just brave it, but was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to feel confident? Or any tips to minimise pms bloating? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

As corny as this could sound...traditional good posture, along with making one look confident, can be a subtle confidence booster. If you can carry yourself well, hold your head up, look people in the eye and smile at them, they'll respond more favorably to you and you'll feel better about being out there.
