Hi!
I just bought some oatbran from MyProtein this week & to be honest I'm not sure what to do with it.
If you guys have any recipes that you use I'd be really greatful if you could share them with me
It was on offer online so I thought I'd buy it & give it a shot....it's still sitting unopened haha

Here's a couple I use from time to time.
Power Oatmeal
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup quinoa
1/4 cup oat bran
3 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop Vega protein
1. Sprinkle protein powder and raw hemp seeds on top when hot. Stir well and serve.
Oat Bran:
Oat bran = 3/4 cup
Water = approx. 1.5 cups
Add berries
Wheat germ (2 tbsp)
Microwave for 45-90 seconds – safe bowl, do not use plastic
Stir and enjoy.
If you want to add some almond milk on top you can

I've used oatbran to bulk out pancakes, or in yogurt to increase carbs and fibre.
I find the consistency off for making porridge with just the oatbran alone.
Most people just use the one you have bought as a supplement, cheap and easy way of increasing carb and fibre intake. Just add a scoop to a protein shake or a glass of milk.
I'm sure Google will point you in the direction of more recipies.0 -
look up dukan diet recipes. A lot of them use oat bran. I had one that I did in a mug in the microwave that had egg white, cinnamon, vanilla yogurt, and oat bran. I also saw people do a crepe with oat bran.0

I use oatbran pancakes instead of bread, it's a lot less bloating and they're tasty and simple to make, cheap too.
2 tbsps dry oatbran or porridge
1 egg
Milk or yoghurt
Flavouring (I use chilli)
Mix together to get a smooth consistency, drop a large spoonful in a non stick pan, that's been sprayed with oil, wait until bubbles appear, then flip over and cook the other side.0
