Hello All!

I am in need of a change and I keep making the same excuses over and over. I am done with the excuses and ready to be held accountable. My biggest problem is that I am too hard on myself... 1 bad day is never 1 bad day it turns into a bad week. I am ready to change. (I hope).

I totally understand! I do soo well for a while and see great results, then out of nowhere have a bad day! I am determined to shake it off today and have a better day today!

This site helps me SEE the damage I do in a day, MFP friends help me stay accountable, and although one day sometimes turns into 2 or 3, I manage to get back on the bus for the long run!

We can do this! My goal is to stop having so many cheat days.... it's ok on occasion.... maybe we need to pick like 1 or 2 days a month... IDK>>> i am still learning too.

Congratulations on coming back!!! We can do it!

I had many of those "weeks" and even "months"! I see you have set a goal of losing 30 lbs. I just want to let you know that it CAN be done, even with bad days. It took me 1 year and 5 months of taking one day at a time, but I have managed to lose a little over 30 lbs and am now just 2.8 lbs from my goal. Baby steps. Just start reminding yourself every single morning that it is a brand new day and that what happened yesterday doesn't matter moving forward. Good luck to you!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all of your kind words. This is the first time I am truly attempting to not do this alone and to allow people to help me. So all the support so quickly is really awesome! It's great to see what so many of you have already accomplished. Keep up the good work and thank you for the welcome!
