I'm curious, how many people count stevia amongst the "artificial" sugars?

hello, I noticed a while back that some people who avoid "Artificial" sugars and foods (the definition of which is debated hotly), include stevia amongst the sweeteners on the "no" list.......is there anyone out there who also does this? Are there known issues with eating a lot of stevia?
(I eat a lot of it and am genuinely curious)

I count it amongst satan's concoction tricking me into eating licorice
I wouldn't worry too much though if you enjoy it. Not in the amounts you would normally use to sweeten beverages0 -
It's the only one I can tolerate, honestly!0

I do. I use the Stevia drops, so it isn't just the leaf... For the leaf, I don't know.0

I don't, i use a stevia based granular sweetener called Truvia to sprinkle on my Weetabix, love it.0

I love my stevia/truvia and use it in Greek yoghurt and my coffee.0

I use it in my coffee every day. It's the only 0-calorie sweetener that doesn't give me intense stomach pains.0

Stevia is a leaf or herb, I don't count it as artificial any more then basil and thyme, but I actually don't really like Stevia. I find it bitter. I try to like it, but just cannot seem to do it.0
