Jaybird Freedom Wireless Headphones

I recently bought a pair of Jaybird Freedom wireless earbuds and was disappointed to learn that my iPod (6Gen) does not have bluetooth. I now need to buy a universal bluetooth adaptor. Jaybird said to make sure it has a headphone jack, has A2DP, and at least bluetooth version 2.1, but they didn't recommend one. Has anyone else had this problem and could you please guide me to a suitable adaptor? I want to make sure I get the right thing and that it's not going to be a cumbersome running with! Thanks!

Can't say anything about the adapter but the freedoms work great with a phone.0

I use the jaybirds and they're awesome but I use it with my phone.
I suppose it depends on how you work out, but if I were to use and iPod and adapter, it wouldn't fit well into my armband. I use the armband when I'm running on the road because the jaybirds constantly cut out if the phone isn't on the right hand side (they warn you about that in the packaging).0
