Hi sorry for lack on information. My Migraines have been diagnosed as hormonal. I used to get them every month. I was with the migraine clinic in London and doing clinical trials. Nothing seems to help. I use migraleve to help. I have also been told that I have type 2 diabetes which could explain the continuous headache high blood glucose level. I am now on medication for this. I hope that I will get to gripe with all these changes and be able to lose weight. Thank you all for your replies it helps that I don't feel i am doing this by my self!!!!

Good to hear you know more about your migraines now.
Hopefully, also, the migraines will ease once you get past this time of life. Good luck with your weight loss!0 -
Hi, welcome to MFP
Did your Dr give you any diet advice to follow to help with your diabetes? Low carb gets recommended regularly for it.
A diet with lots of green veg and little to no caffeine can help with the migraines. Good luck, it all seems scary at first so maybe break it down in to little goals. Like lose 2-4lb in your first month. You can do this0 -
Tbh my Doctor hasn't really said anything except that I had high blood glucose levels. The medication I am taking seems to trigger my migraines but I am preserving. I am trying to do a little walking when I can. I need to adjust my diet as well.0

There is a wealth of information available from the Migraine Trust.

Migraines can be quite different in that what works for one person will not always work for another, so its a case of finding what works for you. Its going to be a case of educating yourself, patience and then a bit of trial and error as you try different things.
You need to identify your trigger factors and then control them. You cna do the identification part by keeping a diary. Even though you know its hormonal its handy to recognise the pattern of attacks and the circumstances when you get one.
The Migraine trust has excellent help sheets.

I had my migraines from a young age and at its worst I was getting 3 or 4 a week, which was all a bit exhausting. Migraleve never did anything for me, but they do work for others. the migrain trust has advice on all medications and therpapues.
I would focus on losing weight and moderate exercise though as that alone might ease your attacks.

You do need to change your diet to a more halth balanced one that can help control your blood sugar levels.
Rather than getting overwhelemed just make small changes on a regular basis so you cna adjust.
You cna use MFP to help you lose weight by weighing and logging your food.
