Editing?

I'm on the website, trying to edit some dark chocolate which has no sugars entered. I'm getting the error, an item with this description already exists. Well of course it does, I'm trying to edit it! I'm not creating a new entry, and besides that, there are tons of things with multiple entries! How can I change this please?
I used the is this info accurate, no, edit pathway.

Small update, I added the supermarket to the brand and it allowed an edit. But now, I cannot find it in the database. It's per square rather than 100g. Any tips, rather than creating a new food? I'm beginning to see why the database is cluttered with multiple entries of the same thing, editing is a real pita!0

You might have accidentally misspelled the word in the brand field when you edited it. The search engine has minimal fuzzy logic so if you are off by even one letter in the full search term, it may not find it. Try typing only the first three or four characters, such as "safe" for "Safeway." Good luck!0
