Is it good or bad that I never seem to feel hungry since starting my weight loss journey a week ago. Having to force myself to eat because it's a meal time

It's good in the sense that your not hungry but personally I actually like feeling a little hungry before I eat.
You shouldn't be forcing your self to eat though. You want to build a healthy relationship with food and force feeding yourself isn't healthy. Can you swap what you are eating for higher calorie choices? That way you are eating the same amount of calories but less volume.0 -

I'm dealing with something similar I think that you put yourself into an anti food mind set in a away. Your boundaries of what Is hungry change aswel I think.0 -

It's good that you aren't feeling deprived! :]
If you are eating at a deficit and feeling content - fantastic and keep it up! You'll have no reason to stop until you've reached your goal! Well done!0 -
For the first two weeks of my weight loss, I stopped feeling hungry. I made myself eat regular meals and made sure I ate 1200 calories anyway. Week 3 my appetite came roaring back. Maybe the same will happen for you. Just make sure you're getting good nutrition!0

I'll be honest: since I started losing weight I rarely feel hungry at all. I finish what I have to eat and enjoy it, but it's very much my eating as I'm *meant* to. I can probably count on one hand how many times I've actually felt hungry before a meal.
I just count it as a good thing; no feeling of being deprived and no hunger pangs. Dieting, changing eating habits, whatever someone wants to call it, seems pretty straight forward imo.0 -
Yeah, your stomach might have shrunk a bit and that's why you might have lost your appetite slightly. If you are still in the early stages of trying to loose weight then this is probably better than feeling starving and deprived. Just eat when your hungry and try to get as close to your daily calorie/macro goals as you can whilst maintaining your deficit. You might be a natural at this weight loss business.0

I very rarely actually feel hungry, but I am also eating something every 2-3 hours. Part of it for me is retraining my brain that I can eat food throughout the day and lose weight. So even if I am not necessarily hungry, I will have a small snack and I feel better physically0
