I am looking for any low calorie snack ideas!
I have just started using MFP, and am really enjoying being in control and being more aware of what I am eating, it's a big change to my lifestyle. As I'm still adjusting I would love if anybody has any healthy/ low cal snack ideas that are filling! I currently go from one extreme to the other, snacking on fruit and veg on good days and returning back to chocolate on others!! I would love to mix it up a bit and find some snacks that don't pile on the calories!!

fruits and veggies...there are low cal granola bars (under 100) and low cal snack packs...air popped popcorn, 6 cups of unseasoned is about 180 cals and thats a lot of popcorn!...2 scrambled egg whites with a chopped green onion is only about 50 cals (not sure on exact because im not looking directly at it)...just some of my go to snacks that are pretty low cal...if im wanting a snack and i have the calories for it, a serving of jiff pb on two graham crackers is about 310-320

My snacks tend to be small meals of a couple hundred calories. I tend to avoid low calorie snacks because I am still hungry afterwards. Perhaps make the snacks bigger and reduce your meals a bit?

I do find that coffee with a bit of cream tides me over well.

Beef Jerky is about 80 calories a serving
Wheat thins- 120 calories a serving
Rice cakes- 50 calories a serving
    PB2- 45 calories a serving ( I usually put PB2 on the rice cakes)

Beef jerky is awesome, plus it's one of the few low cal snacks that has decent protein in it.
