I bought the dvd last week and did first 1 last night, it is a really good work out as it's intensive, reallt makes you sweat!0

I've been wondering too!0

There's a thread from yesterday asking about what exercise has caused you to be the most sore. 30 DS has come up A LOT in it. I have done 1 day of 30 DS about 2 years ago, and that was definetly the most sore I have ever been. I am actually going to download Level 1 on Amazon this week to see if it's any easier for me now. I don't think it comes with a meal plan though.0

Are they 20 min or longer?0 -
Ripped in 30 comes with a meal plan that is very easy to follow. The routines are comparable to 30DS, it's just her more recent version of the program. And yes, I'd recommend this to anyone. I haven't completed either of them. I have them both, but started doing TurboFire instead (couldn't wait), but it is a GREAT workout. Jillian works you hard!0

Here are my results: http://todefyego.blogspot.com/2011/04/30-day-shred-results-round-two.html
I've done two rounds of 30 Day Shred, and loved the results. I think it'd be suitable for a teen to do... there are beginner modifications to pretty much all the moves so you can progress at your own level of fitness. Best wishes!0 -

It does actually come with a meal plan; however, you have to by the book portion of it to go along with the DVD. I got the book from Barnes & Noble - along with a meal plan it has some other exercises too, so you wouldn't have to by the DVD. I bought the DVD because I do better doing the exercises along with her pacing me rather than looking at it in the book and being tempted to not do the exercises to their full extent.0

You can run a search on the message boards for this topic. There are a lot of threads on this subject.0

I did it for the full 30 days missing only 2 or 3 I think, I lost up to 5 cm everywhere the biggest was the full 5cm off my waist. I lost no weight but defo looked better for it. I would say its great for teenagers as you should have loads of energy! Good luck with it x0

It's longer than 20 mins. I think it's about 26 or 28. It's been a while but I believe this includes the warm up and cool down.
Can't really compare it to TurboFire. 30DS will have you sweating just as much. It's more strength based, but if you've done TurboFire recently, you should be able to handle the cardio aspect of 30DS with ease.0 -
Does not come with a meal plan. I love it. Have had wonderful results. I now have arm, shoulder, stomach, well all over muscles! lol.... It is a mix of abs, cardio, and strength. You need some weights (if you don't have them at first, water bottles or cans will do) and a mat (I use a blanket folded up). Good luck!!0

I started the 30 day shred about 2 weeks ago, I really like it! I feel and see results! The really nice thing is that there are 3 different levels, usually your suppose to do 10 days per level...im on level 2 now. Besides each workout is only like 28 minutes long! It is an awesome workout and I would recommend it to anyone....just remember it is a WORKOUT and with it only being 28 minutes...you really gotta push those minutes to make it really count!! : )0

Sorry I misinformed, I didn't know about the book. Thanks for sharing though, I'll def have to take a look at it0 -

Ok.I have done TF so I think I will do ok.My 20 year old wants to do something and I gave her my Slim and 6 ...she really didn't like it,so I was thinking that we could do this togeather.Oh and the price...can't beat that!0 -
I still can't believe you have a 20 year old:laugh: I can't really say if it's harder than TF, but I know that TF has never made me that sore. BUT, I was in pretty good shape before starting TF ad in not so good shape when I tried 30 DS. I am sure you will do fine, especially if you have done any strength training at all. Level 1 is only 1.99 for download at Amazon, so it can't hurt to try it.0
