Runner friends: I started getting horrible shin splints, so I bought insoles for my shoes to help, but now the insoles make my shoes tight and my foot rides higher which has resulted in the worst blisters I've EVER HAD and a workout cut short :/ ideas? Really don't want to buy new shoes, but if I have to, should I go a half/whole size up to compensate for the insoles?
