I don't sleep right anymore....

and I can't stand it! Some days I have to workout in the evenings, but even if I do it during the day I am having such a hard time falling asleep! I'm just assuming it's because of the exercise because before I started I would sleep every night like I was dead.

I love having more energy, but this is crazy. Anyone experience this???

    If I exercise too late in the evening, I have this problem too. Some days I can't exercise until 9:30PM or so and I stay jacked up all night. I really need to transition my workouts to the morning during the week, but I am not a morning person!

    Yep - exercise increases cortisol, cortisol interferes with sleep. If you have to train late at night go and lie on a foam roller for 5-10 minutes with your eyes closed at the end of your workout focusing on your breath to activate your para-sympathetic nervous system which will help you rest.

    My sleep has been interfered with also, and I am alway done with my workout by 2pm. I used to sleep so much better....
