ive gone with what mfp sais to lose .08 kgs a week I get 2000 cals but still feel hungry :( how many cals are others eating? I've also been doing 10,000 steps a day so have put active

    I usually eat between 1.8k and 2.1k per day. Without exercise, and skipping breakfast (don't like it), I would probably be averaging between 1.5k and 1.8k. My sister eats about 1.5k. Since we eat dinner together, I have to be aware of her intake goals.

    Are you eating enough protein, fat, and fiber? I find I need to have a good balance of all three to feel sated most days. I tend towards fiber in the morning, with higher protein and fat at lunch and dinner. Though sometimes I throw egg whites into a morning smoothie/shake.

    That sounds about right. I had to guess your age so put 25. Oops, just saw you are 31! Didn't change much anyway.

    Feeling hungry sucks, but I kinda think you have to be to lose weight. I'm always hungry.

    I'm your height, 79kg. MFP gave me 1600 cal a day (2lbs a week goal) with an active lifestyle... I do pretty well on the not getting hungry thing. The trick is not to blow your calorie allotment on high calorie, unfilling foods. You can eat a TON of veggies, fruits too, for very few calories.

    Thanks yeh I just have to find lower cal filling foods :) and drink lots of water
