HRM vs. MFP cals burned?! so confused!

Which calorie calculation do I use?! There's a huge difference. For example, today MFP told me I burned 551 cals for 55 min on the elliptical, while my HRM told me I burned 675 cals.

Use the HRM's readings. It's strapped to your body. The MFP cals are just an estimate.0

Agreed. HRM is always going to be the more accurate of the two. Congrats on a very nice burn, by the way.

hi your hrm is your accurate reading it has your individual settings (age,weight etc) you can manually change the calories burnt when entering on mfp :happy:0
