What Are You Most Excited For, When You Reach Your Goal?

I'm wishing you the best of luck on the road to a happier you :]
Please know that you are beautiful and unique regardless of size. Don't cover up in your hoodies because you don't feel worthy of showing your skin. Don't suffer through extreme heat because you are ashamed of how you look. Be proud of every inch of you - including the parts you are working on. Remember, you will lose the weight but you still will be you. Your personality and your quirks. You don't have to look a certain way to be accepted - not in my world anyway. I hope, as your journey progresses, you find peace with who you are no matter what your clothes size. Best of luck.0 -

I also want to, as someone said earlier, not have to run and untag my facebook pictures after an event.
Also, I used to say "ugh I'm fat" when I wasn't even fat and people would be like "you're not even that big". Now when I say it or joke about it, they agree and don't give me any arguments.
My mom also passes me her clothes and when others want to buy me something, they don't even consider a medium anymore, just large and XL.
Lastly, it will be nice to have my old neck back. When I snapchat or front face the camera, the double chin scares me for a quick second. Rant over! Let's do this!
AH! EVERYthing you said, I agree with and empathize! I want all the same things. One day at a time, I know, but I cannot wait to celebrate these NSV's!0 -
That I will no longer have to worry about being featured on the "People of Walmart" website.0

Buying quality pieces of clothing, that I can wear from year to year. Signing up for the national weight loss registry.0

I can't wait to be wearing sizes in the single digits and to build up a nice closet of clothes when I get there. Still a long way away though. I also look forward to wearing a dress, which I have never done before.0

I can't wait to fit into smaller jeans and even wear skinny jeans that I actually feel skinny in...
I even have my first goal of trying to fit in my friends "fat" jeans she gave me when she lost weight (that I don't even fit into yet, just one more size down hopefully).
I want to get a tattoo, specifically a sleeve when my arms are fit and a thigh tattoo.
I want to hit maintenance so I can eat more. Hahaha.0 -
Getting dressed and not feeling the need to cry.0
-
Cute fitted clothes, boots that can zip up, layering up in the winter but still looking skinny despite all the layers0

When I started my journey, I wanted to fit back in my size 8 clothing. Over 2 years later, my life has changed for the better more than I could imagine. I don't think it was losing the extra weight, but how much was putting everything into perspective.0

To have more choices of clothes and get so stressed out about clothes shopping.
To be able to run, jump, push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, etc. This has become as much about fitness as about the scale!

I can't wait to go on a shopping spree where I find clothes that I like, that look good on me and make me feel confident again. Used to love shopping even if I didn't buy anything because I could pull anything off the rack and try it on. Now I have to shop at plus size stores where they make all the clothes look cute on the mannequins but all I feel like when I try them on is someone it trying to cover a ball with a sheet. I am tired of that feeling and I know I should love myself regardless of size but it is hard. People judge you even without meaning to and I am tired of that as well, I know most people don't do it intentionally but it still hurts its like once you reach a certain size you become invisible (mpo I don't want to offend anyone)

Amen Denise! I'm pretty much horrified that myfitnesspal shares my size data with their advertisers. I just discovered this today (generally log on with mobile) and started looking for a new app.
I didn't realize that MFP does that--that is disturbing! Are you sure, though? Because I get the Gwenie Bee ads, too, but haven't quite made it to plus sizes yet, so didn't think it was based on my profile or internet searches. I assumed that they just advertise on MFP in general.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being able to eat at maintenance all the time and not letting myself gain the weight back again. Also, just recently, I discovered that I look good in short shorts--for the first time in probably more than 10 years. Even when I had gotten down to a size 2 a few years back, I didn't like the way I looked in shorts, but now I'm back down to an 8 and I'm rocking the daisy dukes--yay for weight lifting!0 -
I really hope everyone who's so looking forward to "more calories" when they reach their goal weight for maintenance realize that they won't be going back to however many calories maintenance was at their starting weight. It's gonna look a lot like "dieting" does now, in many cases, if people want to maintain instead of gaining. (Of course, recomp is different, as is a conscious bulk.)
I find it helpful to do a test run of my stats for my goal size through the system so I won't be so surprised that maintenance at goal is still a lot lower than I HAD been enjoying off-plan.0 -

For my clothes to fit me again. All my dresses and tops are now too short0

i can't wait to wear a dress without leggings and a cardigan to cover my legs and upper arms.
i can't wait to shop in the stores that only go up to a size 14 (uk).
i can't wait to look for a size at the front rather than right at the back of the rail.
i can't wait to get all the tattoos i have planned on parts of me i won't feel the need to cover up anymore.
i can't wait to go swimming.
i can't wait to stop being ashamed of and disgusted by my body.
i don't know why i've left it so long to decide i want these things.
good luck, everyone, i hope you all achieve your goals!0 -
Eat at maintenance and wear my old jeans.0

I am definitely looking forward to saying "good bye" to the poor quality, over priced clothes that I have been buying at plus size stores like Lane Bryant. You would think with as expensive as their clothes are they could at least last more than 2-3 wearings before the hems and seams start unraveling.
Also looking forward to being able to tie my shoes without propping my feet up on something.0 -
Less pain. Just not to have that weight weighing me down when I want to move.0
-
I cant wait till my gut is completely flat again.0

Mentally, I'm looking forward to knowing I have extended my life span by losing the weight.
Physically, I'm looking forward (like many others) to wearing smaller, attractive clothing. 12 or 14 years ago I dieted down to size 14. Of course, gained back to size 22-24. Have now lost 60 pounds and I'm back to size 16. Almost there...and then...wherever the future takes me!!0 -
Like most women, I can't wait to wear different clothes. I've lost 30 lbs and still have 10 to go but I haven't bought anything new yet. My jeans are all pretty baggy now but nothing new until I reach my goal.
Dresses. Tight dresses. Sundresses. Mini skirts. You name it, I want to wear it. Only skinny gals can pull off dresses well in my opinion and I'll be one of them soon I hope!!!0 -
It took two years... Lost 130 pounds.
But for the last 4 days I am at 13% body fat
Whatever work it takes, do it.
There is nothing like reaching your goal.
And save some money. When you lost a crap ton of weight you have to buy all new clothes.0 -
I can't wait to go back to the petite section instead of the women's section. To be able to pick up any brand knowing it'll fit. I can't wait to have a flat tummy. I can't wait to be able to wear a tank top outside of the house. I can't wait to not only look fit but to feel it as well.0
-
I agree with clothes. I am currently wearing clothes too big for me because I still don't fit into the next size down. It will be wonderful to go shopping for size 6 clothes and look stylish again instead of looking like a homeless man!0
